As the days grow warmer and the sun beams brighter, it's official: Summer is here, and it's the perfect time to refresh your wardrobe in favour of something lighter and airier. If you are on a hunt for fresh styling inspiration this season, we got you. We have delved into the latest runway shows and jewelry trends to bring you five standout styles this season has to offer, and more importantly, how we would style them with our versatile jewelry pieces at SIA.

The SS25 season ushers in a breath of fresh air, celebrating a strong notion of femininity to awaken our spirit with a romantic flair. From mood-lifting hues to reimagined textures, bringing the concept of 'soft power' to life.

1. Moto Boho

It's no longer news that the 2010s Boho Chic is back. Taking centre stage at Chloé's SS 2025 collection and making appearances in other brands, it has since inspired fashion week moments and celebrity outfits. With Pinterest reporting a 40% search surge for "edgy boho outfits” compared to 2024.

Unlike the original 70s hippie bohemian style, Moto Boho is a fusion of romantic and rugged moto aesthetics. Contrasting ethereal organza blouses, intricate lace, and breezy floral skirts with chunky leather handbags, heavy-weight jackets and moto boots. Often accented by vintage-inspired gold accessories to add a touch of individuality, such as golden bag charms, layered necklace stacks, and statement earrings.

2. Aura Sheers

If you identify as a ‘soft girl' and are looking for a style that accentuates femininity but finishes with a hint of chicness, the Aura Sheer trend is the perfect combination of both. Since the previous F/W season, we have seen a play in "naked fashion", where designers experiment with flowy and sheer textures such as tulles, organza and mesh to create illusions of "barely there" garments. There is something undeniably romantic, personal and sensual being hugged in sheer. And in this Spring Summer season, we are seeing a variety of sheer designs in pastel aura palettes, such as baby pink, butter yellow, mint green, lilac blue, as well as in romantic floral prints and ruffle finishes.

To elevate your look and add a touch of character, consider accessorizing with matching or contrasting color stone jewelries and intricate diamond pieces.

3. Soft Plaids

Let’s be honest, plaid pieces will never go out of style. Though it usually goes synonymous with colder seasons, this time of the year, we’re seeing a comeback of softer plaid take-ons in neutral and muted tones. Featured in SS25 shows such as Acne Studios and The Row, we saw the versatility and incorporation of muted plaids styled with understated themes and tailored items. Lyst has reported that searches for "plaid" are up 7% this quarter compared to the last, whilst "tartan" is spiking at 29%.

To style a patterned focus outfit, it is essential to keep accessories simple yet intentional. Consider utilizing neutral pieces like chunky gold statement earrings and delicate pearl necklaces to add a subtle touch of personality.

4. Marine Prep

The Marine Prep aesthetics goes beyond typical nautical fashion, blending the essence of elite academic prep with the laid-back vibes of summer sailing by the coast. Highlighting marine uniformed-inspired pieces, and offer imaginative dressing solutions that are both practical and seasonally appropriate. Seen in shows from Miu Miu and Rabanne, the Marine Prep trend often features navy accents, sailor stripes, wind-resistant jackets, knee high socks and summer flats. It’s like Marine School at its finest.

To achieve this prep-inspired look, consider accessorizing with statement glasses, gold necklace stacks, bag charms, and a fun pair of sneakers for extra playfulness.

5. Business Coded

We’re leaving the office siren behind, and embracing new tailoring codes for 2025. With the rise of AI impacting our roles, it is only fitting that we embrace ‘power suiting’ as a way to define our presence at the workplace. This season, we saw undertones of toughness and 80s-inspired silhouettes reflected in collections from designers like Saint Laurent and Tory Burch, featuring oversized matching suits with drop shoulders. This look is strikingly balanced, with buttonless shirts often paired with soft fabrics like leather juxtaposed against sheer materials, all finished off with statement accessories.

When it comes to the workplace, jewelries should strike a balance between sophistication and impact. Consider top-lining with a statement chain necklace and a signet ring stack to complete your power suit moment.
